Do you think you're smart?

65% is not everyone. There is nothing contradictory with having 65% of the population above average. You must be confused with the median.

> in purposeless world here is notching right or wrong, society defines intelligence as ability to create worthfull resourses for society, for creating new purposes. to manage in own system and rules, and abstractions. it is more like a tool to be part of society and get rewarded for it. so for me intelligence doesn't matter, since existential purpose was never revolved around it.
> Intelligence defined for society ruleset is never true intelligence and it just defined intelligence, logical thinking, rules of abstaction, observation. Is defined by society, your intelligence isn't pure in society eyes it is made up.

May I suggest the novel "Flowers for Algernon," by Daniel Keyes?

It is a powerful story of a man who receives an operation which turns him into an intellectual genius, whilst introducing his newfound conflicts stemming from such a high cognitive aptitude; the story itself is a portrayal of what our harbored dangerous expectations for the concept of "smartness" can do to an individual, when "obtained."

Definitely provides insight on defined intelligence versus true intelligence.
