Cheating is very easy in LiChess! Stop it, please.

Thibault, there are some players that cheat in Lichess without punishment. I propose to create an 'Engines Room' and transfer the cheaters into 'Engines Room'. Playing an amateur against a top-rated
engine is a non-sense that should be stopped and I do not understand the passivity of the admins in this site. I myself has cheated and nobody has stopped me. I wanted to prove how many days I can
cheat before returning to 1200, but still nothing...

I want to congratulate Mr. Thibault (I think he is the same Thibault as in FICGS) for this good chess server. I think people should regain their lost points against the cheaters and then send them to
the new 'Engines Room'.

My tools for cheating were:
-HARDWARE: Intel Pentium D 930 (Dual Core) 3 GHz, 2 Gb of RAM; Windows XP 32-bit OS.
-SOFTWARE:
*Engine: Houdini 1.5a w32 (2 threads). Split Depth = 14, Playing Contempt = 1.
Opening book: 44 moves by Rybka 3.abk (hosted at http://www.chessmotor.narod.ru/).
GUI: Arena 2.0.1.
EGTB: all sets of 3, 4 and 5-man Gaviota TB.

So, as you can see, I have good tools but not a supercomputer or the best opening book. And even I won every game I played. I detected some people that only cheated against me (because of my super
rating and my graph (that was like y²=x)) and they also lose, so I suppose that people playing on LiChess do not have great tools (I do not have it, anyway).

Please Thibault and other admins: ban cheaters from the 'Human Room'. It do not solve the problems of anonymous cheaters but at least honest people do not lose points in a bad way.
I totally agree with you, my friend. I can add something: most of the top-rated players are probably automated or semi-automated bots. You can easily detect that form some details in their playing and
timing.
I am pretty sure for example about these:
@JBerg
@hadian
@controlaltdelete
@Ajedrecista
@Karporov

This is even obvious whe talking about players that play an average of ten+ matches a day: impossible for an human to spend that amount of time without making a single error.
Let's hope the site team finds out a way of banning them. Altough the deplorable situation of this forum lets us think that the server is in an abandon state.

Regards
You can add the next ones (in my opinion). I could be wrong but I do not think that:

@boban-croatia
@citizen
@proenergy
@xbobanx
@checkmate
@cAp
@whitecoat

The player xbobanx had a strange behaviour in most games against me: he achieve a good position for him and then he blunders badly, so easy win for me in all the games. And there are more players than
started bad but now have a lot of wins in a row against strong opposition. So, a little suspicious...

In fact I am Ajedrecista (the same who create this topic, and I am a real person, not a bot!). I can say that the next player do not usually cheat but he cheated against me:

(The player) @rafael7x
(The game) lichess.org/analyse/c0hxwjnk

See the game yourself! It is quite obvious.
I remember another player:

@young_man_blues

This player suspected of me from the very beginning (I was +6=0-0 yet, so congrats for his good intuition!). I also remember another player (I do not remember his/her nick) that insult me badly...
playing against me was not compulsory! Simply click 'Cancel game'. It seems curious to me that no player post something about Ajedrecista (myself) in the forum. In real life I am not a super GM (of
course!), simply I am an unrated chess fan (I mean unrated for the FIDE) but I think my real playing strength is around 1550 or 1600 Elo FIDE.

Sorry for the honest players that I have dropped a few points their LiChess rating. It was an experiment and then I propose this idea of 'Human Room' and 'Engines Room' for prevent this abuse. Maybe
the second post is true and LiChess is abandoned and admins do not take care of the site.

For this reason I hope Mr. Thibault (I think he is the main admin, that is why I am referring to) can read this topic and solve these problems that are really a shame.

Sorry for my bad English, but I am not using Google Trad or anything like that.

Best wishes for LiChess and regards from Spain.
Your english is very good.
I still believe some of them have an automated program (it would be a good task for a programming trainee...)
I can't see the point of playing lots of matches just obeying to Rybka or whatever like a robot, only for ELO purpose.
Whatever, let's see if someone picks up the cause.
I don't think behind LiChess there's anyone but Thibault, and I haven't heard news of him since a month or so.
Obviously he might have had something else to do, it is not his job for sure.
By the way the source code is there and anyone who might want to create a clone of LiChess is allowed to.

I am almost sure another cheater is the next:

@aerarium

In fact, most of top-rated players are cheaters.

Spam is very painful in this site... please get a captcha or something like this!
Looking at today's spam flood in the forum it looks like spammers and cheaters are allied... :-P
good afternoon.

first of all good chess site. i know its not the most advanced like playchess.com or something else but I like the quality of it especially because it is free.

there are indeed some cheaters in the list. its hard to say based on a few games. you would need to compare their games vs an engine and see the percentage of matching moves.

ive been playing chess for almost 20 years now and i must say you cant tell a cheater just by 1 game (online).

there are different cheating methods and some can be prevented. hopefully mr thibault will return and make some improvements to enhance the website.
How can you cheat at Lichess?
Another clearly example is the next:

@robi

Honest people should not play against these cheaters. Before making the next move, take a look on your opponent's profile. If it is suspicious, simply click 'Cancel game' and you will not drop points.
When people realize of this issue, cheaters would not find people to play against, and they would stop playing in LiChess.

I am Ajedrecista (again), the same who create this topic; you always have to take a look on your opponent's profile (there are profiles for this reason). Simply click over the nick of the player.

Once again I warn Mr. Thibault and I invite him to read carefully this topic and stop cheating (if possible).

Greetings from Spain.
