I don't mean to say that my joke was not about the Palestinian issue, but I do want to explain it because now I realized that there is a very twisted way to understand it:
The point of the joke is that there is no such thing as Palestine, not because it is being destroyed now, but because "Palestine" is a country that never existed because there is "Israel" and Palestine is just an invention.
I didn't come to joke about war or death but to joke about a historical claim and a political claim.
