How do you think the world will end?

oh good, now when children are asking me "when will the world end" I'll say "planet Kelper-B849 will end sometime in the future"

there can be multiple causes and thousands of potential and plausible outcomes.
I would say fashion is dying a not so slow death among this online community. Except for me, no one here seems to have any fashion sense. And without fashion, how long will it be before all the bridges in the world collapse? I mean just look at what happened in Charm City a few weeks ago. You can't deny that now, can you?

fashion is a question of times and perhaps there will be a time when fashion will be standardized or unnecessary.

there are things more serious than that.

there will be an end of the world, because science says so to explain the mysteries of religion. and religion also explains what science cannot always offer: hope
Once the roadies are done, the chairs are stacked, and the floor is swept, the janitor will flip the last light off and lock the door.
It might take a very long time, but the scientifics pretend that an asteroid is scheduled somewhere in the unknown future to hit the Earth once again; another episode like the one that happened to the dinosaurs.

As for the universe, they say that all the stars will all extinguish. If I remember well, in the end, they say that only black wholes will remain until they have no matter left to eat. They will then slowly collapse and the universe will become cold, dark and empty.

Humans will have lived in an eyebrow flutter on an interstellar scale and, unfortunately, as we can see, will have been good at flying strong between the good and the bad (inspired from Child in time of Deep Purple).

With more of what is going on now. More greenhouse gases, more chemicals (with unknown effects when combined in various ways) in nature.

It will take hundreds of years, but life as we know it will go extinct (at least on the surface and shallower waters). 1000 years from now, earth will not be a good place to try to live on, maybe impossible.

The universe? No idea. Some scientists have tried to extrapolate far into the future. But they most likely realize that extrapolating to year 10^100 and beyond when the universe is 13.8 billion years old is a bit of a stretch.
