When I report for trolling, I thought you , Lichess, had taken action

So I reported 2 people lately for trolling forums and immediately after I reported them their posts were blocked , I thought this was very quick action by Lichess. I've just checked and all you have done is add them to my blocked list. That was not my action, I never chose to block them. It seems because I reported them , you chose to block them from my account and this is not really a solution to the problem. It might make me think you've taken action but everyone else is not seeing 'show blocked message ' in their forum threads against these trolls. Please don't make actions on my account that I have not chosen.if you're not going to take action against these trolls that's fine , then it's just my perspective of them, or sensitivity of them , but please don't block people from my account that I have not chosen to block and make me think you have taken action against them , when you haven't , thanks

I can report for cheating it doesn't auto block......
50% of my cheating accusations wrong , so I don't ever block after a report in case I'm wrong and Lichess should not assume anything (make an ass out of u and me!) this is quite poor form from Lichess and I expect better from a 'good' website that follows its values, fair enough it my be a programming error or the ' easiest' way to shut reporters up but it's wrong , I may well be wrong in my reports for cheating or trolling but doesn't mean I want to block everyone straight away. It's my decision who I block and Lichess should in no way be making decisions about who I block or don't on my account, I think that's my right ,don't you ? xxx
I actually agree with you Simon, but this new feature that reporting a player automatically adds them to your block list was introduced on the site quite recently. I have got into the habit of reporting then removing the player from the block list which works alright. Quite why this feature was introduced I have no idea.

Oh I did not know that , obviously, Thank you for up date , I thought it was an underhand tatic thanks for your feedback @Brian-E xxx I will know for the future
There is a difference if you report for cheating or if you report for trolling (that is, if you report posts from the direct ! symbol). And there have been earlier threads about this.
