The queen can now additionally move like a knight. What do you think the new point value is?

even tho i replied to this, it's one of the more useless posts on the forum........... i mean, why not ask, hey, what about a knight that moves like a knight, but also like a pawn? what is that worth? what if it could also promote itself.............jeezus.

A queen is valued 9 and a knight 3. So where does that leave an amazon?

But it didn't give any reasoning.

I would value it 13, with the argument sometimes the whole is greater than the sum of the parts.
This is true for a Bishop+Rook vs Queen, and I don't see why it would be any different as we add another piece.

In Bullet I would value it at 15 as it would be difficult to spot all the double attacks it could generate.
