My 3 Check Games against Andrew Tang

First of all, i was sending a challenge on the lobby to play Three Check with 30 seconds time control. And i sent the challenge for players who have a rating -500 to +500 from my rating. And i was surprised that Andrew Tang accepted my challenge!

Honestly on the first game i didn’t get nervous. But on the second game i was a bit nervous but still made it, on the third game i lost due to my hands were shaking hahaha. On the last game i won and he left after that.

I’m not saying that i’m a good three check player here. Perhaps Andrew doesn’t study Three Check too much so when he played me who’s playing Three Check quite often i could beat him. Actually Andrew was the first Three Check player on the leaderboard. But he’s quite inactive for playing with penguingim1 account or even didn’t play lichess for a while so his Three Check Rating also kicked out from the leaderboard (you have to play at least 1 game in a week to maintain your name on the leaderboard).

He was 2640, and that’s his peak rating! When the first game started, he was actually 2640. But now he lost 65 rating points due to losing 3 games against me who have a much lower rating than him.

I respect him so much as the fastest chess player in the world and the best ultrabullet chess player in the world. Nevertheless, it’s such an honor to play against Andrew in a chess variant that i love the most.
