I am going to take my time. thanks for this part 2. And this being the only lobby easy accessible place for a minimum of discussion, I will not limit myself to answer the blog problem. I might not be able to until I understand the bush around it, anyway.

As I read, comments:
Just saw the detector... funny.
Yes: The dual game, I do like this presentation idea. It does exist, just not legal. We dare not see it in the mirror! :).

> Observe that the number of times that each pawn has moved is unambiguous, because they have moved in a straight diagonal. Also, note that all four knights were invested in making this possible.

pawn moves being inducible without ambiguity seem to be a tool of the reasoning that preceded it.

Love the vibe, reminds me of elvira crossed with kids mystery games
"retraction" Was it already defined (bad brain here)? Could you offer synonyms or elaborate a bit. I think more than one word for the same things often allows people to find adequate intersections in the set of them. (different trajectories not just in chess, but in the world of words as well, even those taken from natural language to some more specific terminology).

At first it sounded to me (so there is that noise), in context, like some retrograde "action". but idk. IDK. (relaxing stance).
@dboing A retraction is just a candidate last move in a position. It is the analog of a move, but backwards.
