Cheaters make you worse at chess.

Age vs Rating
8 year old = ±800
9 year old = ±900
10 year old = ±1000
11 year old = ±1100
12 year old = ±1200
13 year old = ± 1300
14 year old = ± 1400
15 year old = ± 1500

The correlation is simply there to show a constant progress with age. It is normal that there are lots of good players above 1500 on a website. What may be odd is seeing a performance graph that is not constant even after years of experience.

Normal progression is normal. Anything else needs to be questioned. I lose more games than I win and my rating is on average in the 1700.

There are many players on lichess that are 2000 plus. Some try and others dont try. I never accuse someone of cheating as it is pointless. Sometimes others have moments of brilliance and that does not mean they cheat. lichess labels cheaters that use the engine in rated games. If they cheat in casual or as anonymous why should you even care. Those that cheat cannot play rated or in tournaments. Its your own choice who you play against.

I like to play against engine but find a level of AI that is slight above me. I will appreciate very much if you or anyone can give me the reasons for not playing against engine. Thank you All.
