Lichess Voice Recognition Beta

I don't know if it is due to my bad internet or not, but it was a bit slow for me. A great idea though!

> It can’t recognize the phrase “en passant really well” it thought I said “offer resign” which would’ve been pretty bad XD. Also it’s a little strange with the pawn moves having to say pawn for every one

You're right, it doesn't recognize that phrase at all. The model we have now can't listen for french words. I could add the english translation "in passing" but I don't think anyone would discover it. Best just to speak the destination square.

You don't have to say pawn, but you're right we do not honor SAN with pawns. Disambiguation is a big part of the UI at times and pawns can't get special treatment when multiple pieces can move there.
I really love this. I've been experimenting recently with the "Lichess over the board" app, but I've found it somewhat unreliable - and distracting for my play. This, however, works really well for me. I can use the voice sound pack to hear the opponents' moves, then play and speak my response. It keeps you in the game and allows you to play online, but OTB.

Here's an example video of my setup: www.youtube.com/shorts/4qWKtds4dLI

Although the site looks like Lichess it is not. It does not have your Lichess account. You have to create an account there anew.
Hello everyone,
if (like me) you are not fluent, you can just use the coordinates !!!
However, I couldn't find the sentence to show the solution.
Voice recognition works well for the most part. Sometimes you have to say "delta 2 to delta 4" instead of just "delta 4" to move a pawn.

But what does it mean when the UI shows a rainbow of different colored arrows?
