I use an engine but I don't feel it helps that much

Confession -

I use an engine in every online game I play in. Before you crucify me, hear me out. I don't feel like it really helps because I don't take every move it suggests. Maybe it's not even a big deal and more people should use them? Is this the new direction of online chess?

it is the way to go its a very good idea (if you want to get banned)
oh and read this if you still dont know what i mean
1. Cheating. We define this as using any external assistance to strengthen your knowledge and, or, calculation ability to gain an unfair advantage over your opponent. Some examples would include computer engine assistance, opening books (except for correspondence games), endgame tablebases, and asking another player for help, although these aren’t the only things we would consider cheating

If only everyone would be as honest as OP. Then one could quickly identify all the idiots without wasting any time.

Wait Are u cheating?
high win percentage at Rapid indicates suspicious behavior to me. However I can't prove it. And this seems like trolling and not cheating. Who would post such a thing seriously?
If you use an engine even just to verify that an idea you've already spotted works, you'll play several hundred rating points higher. Seeing the evaluation alone, without seeing any moves, would give players a significant advantage. Don't delude yourself into thinking that the engine isn't helping.
