KeyBoard

not wanna sound critical with my message that i find it funny if people would think this version of keyboard typing is faster but personally i found it amusing if it would be the case 😀
I was using keyboard once but I stopped to use it because it was to easy to win with it and now I'm happy that I made this decision. :) I dropped like 150 elo in bullet and ultrabullet but it's way more fun to play it now. And ur right - it's more difficault to face a keyboard user - but you can also take it as a challenge and try to win on the board! Most of the keyboard players dont really concentrate on the board cause they know they will win on time. Also you can win on time with mouse like DominikDerBoss xD but that would take you a while I think. :D
Better see the keyboard users as challengers and dont block them.
I wasn't going to write anything, but oh well...

On top of everything that was said, about multipremoves, holding keys etc.
I don't understand this notion that something which is "available to everyone" is therefore completely fair.
This extension clearly gives a huge advantage in time scrambles and in general ultra/hyper play (even 1+0), is still not known by most of the community (definitely compared to native Lichess features), breaks quite regularly and is somewhat hard to install from what I heard.

If you want to make it completely fair then make it a native Lichess feature which can be used without any hussle. After that make a blog post about it so everyone knows it's there. But before that happens don't talk about fairness, because it's simply not true.
The keyboard should not be banned, but some movements should be restricted. For example, the player who uses the keyboard in a bad position at the end of the game can play his king blindly and very quickly. This is not fair to touchscreen users and mouse users.
I personally think that kb is only useful in time scrambles. I remember playing 1+0 with Kb, but I couldn't really concentrate and had a tough time staying above 2400. I then decided to just focus while using a mouse and I reached 2800 Bullet. And Ultrabullet is not really about kb vs mouse, it is about maximum concentration and stable connection. And instead of complaining about keyboard users, just remember that Ultrabullet is for fun only 😁 Reaching the level of Andrew Tang is impossible!
As someone who has played many games of ultrabullet with, without and against keyboard, I can confidently say that it is unfair. It is not fun to enter endgames as a non-keyboard player knowing that you will certainly lose to someone who just has to spin their cursor in circles to win on time, while you have to actually make each move.
can someone please offer to teach me how to use KB, i dont see its advantage if i have to type my moves, so i believe i'm getting something wrong
@ProgramFOX, I see the only one advantage for kb-users: when they are playing in time trouble with multi-premoves. Advantage is: they are able to make premoves always. Therefore, you will never premove back and will spend at least 0.1 sec for move. It's the best way to identify kb-user, because usually both sides can premove (move 26 white premoves, move 27 black has a premove etc): against kb-player it simply impossible.
I can't say it's very big problem but there is a clear advantage for kb players.
So in very rare cases I met a user which I can not win by time just because he always premoves.
