It *is* kind of annoying that literally the minute I made my donation the site started crashing repeatedly for an hour +.
Unfortunately there is no way lichess (or other websites) can make sure every server stays up all the time. I understand and agree that lag and disconnects are annoying. But sometimes shit happens and there is nothing you can do to prevent it.
Hey, Chess.com's live chess, as well as many other features, was down for several hours yesterday. That's what brought me back to logging in here. I had been meaning to lately and that was enough to do it. Chess.com V3 is costing me $14/mo. and it has nothing but technical difficulties and is low tech in general, compared to the other servers. Especially this one.
