Using engine when you have ongoing unrated games with no time limit

Can you get banned? I don't want to cheat I just don't want to abstain from analyzing games while playing games with no time limit

Yes, you can get banned.

You can analyze games that have totally different positions than the ongoing game, however it's a risk.

Using the engine for analysis while playing is virtually the definition of cheating. It IS one of the forms of cheating.

If you dont want to cheat, dont use the engine while playing. Even if you dont get banned, that IS cheating.

So if you dont want to cheat, dont cheat, else you are a cheater even if you dont get caught. Still a cheater.
