Not enough chess960 tournaments!!!

@davinci35 Well no one said you are stupid - maybe you are not - but yes you were out of the line. Apologies accepted. Please don't do it again.

@Funkmaus I mean there is no quick pairing option for chess960, such as '3+2 Chess960 blitz' (at least I don't see it on the 'quick pairing' tab in my desktop browser). It wouildn't hurt to have one or two options, would it? - so that one doesn't have to enter all the data each time manually. The time controls are subject to discussion.
However, I think the tournament problem (the lack of scheduled ones, and the lack of functionality to search for used-created chess960 & other tournaments) is even more important.
@Former_Player
Ah! I see. No, there are no such options and I think that would go too far to suggest to implement it.
The quick pairings are set up for classic chess and the most popular time controls.
But once you have setup the data in the manual thing to the time control/variant you prefer, you come back there and it is saved.

Maybe a good suggestion would be that one can preset and save customized time control/variant and have it as a button?
One/two buttons as you say?! That could be another thread topic, but I dont feel like opening it.

As you say and I repeat:
"I think the tournament problem (the lack of scheduled ones, and the lack of functionality to search for used-created chess960 & other tournaments) is even more important"
SIGNED.
- Where "Quick Pairings" is, have a drop-down to pick the form of chess, then the same time controls as present.
- On "Watch games" in variants, how about let me filter out time controls I don't want to seem. I am not interested in 1+0 in any time control.
- On my mobile I can't see the Lobby (the random games people have created). That means if someone has requested a crazyhouse / 960 / anti-chess game I won't see it.
Agree.

Not every hour since it's not truly massive, but perhaps 4 per day, in different hours and with different formats (5+0 3+2 1+1 1+0 whatever..) would be great

I love chess 960,

the only thing im very unclear about , are the rules of castling
You must consider than castling rules are exactly the same than in standard. Remember than standard is one of the 960 positions.
It means until last consequences, even it seems a paradox is some positions. Like :

Sometimes you must move a rook to make possible the castling in the other side.
King cannot cross a threatened square, but a rook does it, whatever position
Cannot castle with your king under check.
Cannot castle if you moved king before or the rook to castle with
It keeps notation for 0-0-0 and 0-0 although 0-0 can be a very long castle, for example with king in b1.

Perhaps I forgot someone
@Perpetomobile you have to remember only one thing. While INITIAL positions of king and rook before castling may be different, the FiNAL positions are exactly the same as in standard chess.

Regarding quick pairing buttons rise your voice here github.com/ornicar/lila/issues/5739 please!
Whoa gbtami - what is this? Is it the idea, which I have mentioned in #62 already been recorded?
Thanks for that link; I actually thought about having one/two customized buttons for quick seeks, but that is even better!

There is an image... existing time controls for "normal" chess - and above the tab "Variants". Should be added!

Would be great since that is not only about chess960 but for all other variants people individually prefer.

How can I raise my voice? Must register somehwere?
Sorry but I have no clue about those issues and they actually kinda scare me...
Anyway, count me in - feel free to repost this post in my name if its possible.
