Feature Request: Tournament Filters

Lichess has grown so much in recent years! As a result of that, there are also a lot of tournaments now. So many in fact that at certain times of the day it can be really tedious to scroll through all the tournaments looking for a specific one, especially if you’re looking for variant tournaments.

So I think it would be a good idea to have tournament filters, similar to the filters that the home page lobby has, with these filter options:

Time Control (bullet, blitz, rapid, etc.)
Variant
Casual/Rated

I think this would be great to help find tournaments, because at times there can be more than 100 tournaments on at the same time and looking through them can take a while.

Any thoughts?

Yes please, just came to the forums to make this same request myself. Almost impossible to sort through all the tournaments now, especially as an antichess player.

How does it look with the filter tournaments up there? Obviously it would be smaller and with a background color. What do you think?

Seems more and more chess clubs are starting to hold their own tournaments here too.

@l-____-l If the button was about as large as the “Create New Tournament” button I think that would be great!
