Would there ever be an interest in an "odds" type tournament?

Could be a fun way to see how a 2500 plays against a 1600 without a queen or a 2200 vs a 1900 without an F pawn, thoughts?

Just do play from position, it's not that hard.

@Deathmaster I think u misunderstood his idea, is to play random higher rated players from a position and make that a tournament that could be separed in 2 parts, best 3 of high rated and best 3 of lower rated, like the usual tournament system only to award them separatedbut play together.

I think it would be cool if we could make casual tournaments like this. It could such that for every 100 points of rating difference, the better player starts with 1 fewer points of material.
