On a serious note, what is really insane is the notion that lichess is "taking" something away from you when you lose. Rating points aren't like points in video games. They just serve as a signal to show your approximate chess proficiency. If you are indeed as good as your earlier rating indicated, it should be no trouble earning your rating back without lichess intervention.
