I'm piling on a "well handled".
In the future, I think it would be in everyone's best interest if Kingscrusher realized that he has a massive following (that sometimes doesn't understand all of the facts and agrees with whatever he says), and should at least attempt to ask Ornicar or another mod about complaints and accusations through a private message before taking things to reddit and lichess forums. Likewise, I believe Ornicar should realize that he, through lichess supporters, also has a massive following (that sometimes doesn't understand... etc etc) and should attempt to work things out in private first.
This is not the first time a 80 post long thread has caused drama and animosity, and it really could all be avoided by asking these questions in private.

^ Kingscrusher did nothing wrong, and have public discussion on that is good for site. Kingscrusher brings people to site as well and the point that he might have chose another tournament instead of investing his time playing against team is completely understandable.
I appreciate Thibault's work, but his answer is quite manipulative and guilt tripping for me to be accepted. What was done is not fair.

#76 Perfect response by @thibault. Lichess has given more to the chess comminity then most of us could comprehend. It would only be fair to give Thibault the credit he derserves for the fittingly excellent and sincere reply on:-

Furthermore, I think that when you're running something as large as Lichess, 'inaccuracies' are inevitable and in the future, the complainers must understand that all the Lichess staff is trying their best to serve the game of chess. I personally think this incident has improved Lichess in a better way. Let us all be positive and think of the bigger picture here. Cheers!

Sore and whiny losers always complain. Instead of studying and practicing they complain in this thread. Not surprisingly the losers lose even more and of course complain more. These whiny losers cannot succeed in anything in life including chess. The losers should buy membership in chess.com ; play there ; lose ; complain ; People who cannot accept a loss should not play chess at all. Chess takes some thick skin. It also takes patience and ability to admit own mistakes. Losers also should not coach others so that new players are not trained to become sore losers.

Whoever does not agree with the current version of Lichess Terms of Services (including @CM Kingscrusher-YouTube ) can simply close their accounts and move to chess.com or any other websites which have Terms of Service that acceptable to them. Lichess deserves high quality streamers. Lichess Terms of Service allow streamers to coach amateurs, for free, how to improve their chess skills.
