How to find out who was the strongest (beaten) opponent of a chess player?

Hi everybody,

i am looking for a way to search for the strongest opponents/beaten opponents of chess players. So for example if i would search for Alexander Grischuk it would give me Carlsen as the strongest opponent and Carlsen as the strongest beaten opponent. I know there is the possibility to just look up encounters between two players but that of course would be far to much work to do by hand if i have no clue who the chess player was playing in his life or if the chess player is just not very famous.

I hope somebody has an idea! Thanks in advance for any tips!
Hi,
you can look at statistics like the strongest beaten player or the weakest player loosing to and much more, if
you click on the profil of the player, then there is a list on the left side, where the different sorts of chess and the ratings are listed. Just click in the list on the button with the sort of chess you want to look at and the statistics comes.
Thanks BananaJo for your answer,
but i'm looking for a searching tool for OTB (over the board) games. Here in lichess i am aware that this is possible.
Greetings
