Tournaments That Are All... For Americans

Today, I found that official thematic tournaments on Lichess are held in 3 different timezones (8 hours apart, each on a different day). It would be still better than 2 tournaments a day. Same format for other important tournaments!

Thibault is located in France, Europe. What's Indian players got to do with this?
Alexa estimates the share of just US and Argentinian visitors is a combined 25.7% of all lichess traffic. People who think the vast majority of players are Asian, probably think so because that holds true for the hours they play, but not for the rest of the day.

Still, I agree that it would be good to have special tournaments for other time zones.
Though Lichess users may be largely from Western countries, the number of *potential* users in Asia is huge, considering their population base and the possible rise of high-speed internet penetration (there is much room for increase, currently China at about 70%, India at about 40%).
