@FutureAstronomer look I don't want to work for some billionaire and get like 10k dollars a month just because I spend 5 years in college learning what X is... I rather create a business and work my way up and earn millions of dollars if I become successful

Try not go to school and update us after a year to two.

Or you can ask homeless people.

No school is just not important. Plenty of jackass exist who did went to school but never became successful because they hated it now they are in financial problems and shits like that.

School won't help you if you don't wanna help yourself because school isnt meant to help you it is just meant to use you so they can get their cash. School is just business not education, I dont know where you live but here in India every school just compete for who has the best academic score. So that more and more people gets attracted to these type of statistics and admit their kids in and these schools grow their business. Indian education system is a total crap and that probably applies to majority of school outside.

And how do these school teach you? By forcing you to sit for 8 hours daily and recite notes multiple times to memorize them for "test". And why these teachers drill you so much for test? Because they get big bonus if their student do good in test. Now to be honest this is nothing different then a person who could sit daily for 8 hours in front of Wikipedia and learn way more interesting stuff. But no one does that because this society is too much biased to believe that a person could learn more from internet

Algebra helps you find answers. Math helps you organise the millions of dollars that you will earn. Science will help you understand the way things work. English will help you with travel and communication internationally. I too agree that they sometimes school teaches us something we don't need. We need the basics of everything, but for some subjects only the basics are enough unless you want employment related to that subject. And in some subjects you need to learn a lot like Math which helps every adult. I want to be an Astronomer. I'll need to learn a lot of Physics, a lot of Math, and perhaps basics of Geography. I don't need Hindi, Literature, History, and Recitation. So yeah, I guess some subjects ought to be learnt for a great life.
