SOLAR CHESS CLUB, MYLAPORE, INDIA

One of the oldest Chess Club in Chennai now Madras as early in early 1935s. The Club is to conduct its Open Chess Tournament for Boys & Girls ( Under-08,10,12,14 and 18) its 27th Chapter withour ant break all along. India's first National Sub-Junior ( Under 15) and later national Junior ( Under-20)champion M.Ramesh ( now aged 60+) is from the family of this chess Trust/Club. Its founder Mr K.S.Subramaniaya Iyer 's ( great grand father of M.Ramesh) 125th year falls on January 2021.
