PowerChess Friendly Tournaments

Welcome chess players from all countries to PowerChess' friendly chess competition and training games site.

We will organise free friendly competitions regularly.

We will also hold special events such as chess simul with GM/WGM/IM/WIM, friendly team competitions and other interesting events too.

You can invite your friends to join our events.

Hoping that all the players here will make use of our events in Lichess to improve your chess and to make friends from different countries.

Remember to observe sportsmanship. Winning is not everything. You can learn even when you lose your games.

PowerChess U12 Weekly Sunday Friendly Tournaments.

Date: Every Sunday (4 September 2022 to 18 December 2022).
Time: 4pm to 6pm Singapore time (UTC 8am to 10am).
Format: Rapid 10+5
Rounds: 5
Entry Requirement: Players must be born 2010 or later.
Entry Fee: Free

There will be international players from Singapore, Canada, Hong Kong, Japan, Indonesia, China, Europe, India, Vietnam, Malaysia etc.

All players have chances to win over 100 prizes!

Prizes will be awarded to players:

1. Have the most points from 4 September 2022 to 18 December 2022.
2. Win the most games from 4 September 2022 to 18 December 2022.
3. Played the most number of games from 4 September 2022 to 18 December 2022.
4. Top players (male & female) for each age group.
5. Best player for each month.
6. First player to play 50 games.
7. First player to win 50 points
8. Best female player.
9. Best youngest player.
10. Best youngest female player.
11. Top 5 players from each country.
12. Lucky draws.
13. And other prizes to be decided.

Sportsmanship is important. Cheating is strictly disallowed.

The organiser PowerChess reserves the right to amend any rules. All decisions by PowerChess are final.
