Bullet people: how do you click so fast?

Go damn it, I've been following some games and I can't even see what one player moved and the other already responded. All I hear is click click click and I have no idea who moved what.

For me even if I try hard (like when running out of time during regular games) I can't move the stupid mouse fast enough. Don't even mention retarded android phones that more often than not require 2-3 clicks.

Do you have to be a ninja?
Playing video games can help you improve the speed of your click. I advise getting a real mouse, getting rid of mouse acceleration in your setting and premove!

Also, if you look at fast ending, people tend to play small moves as they are quicker to play.

Check the Chessbrah channel to see some speed chess, I find it oddly helpful to improve speed.
speed in bullet is not only about the mouse skills. As you mentioned , you can't even see what they are playing... Let me give you an example: if you were given 5 seconds to look at a random position would you be able to see most of the pieces?how about all of them, how about the 1 move threats and the list goes on
I for example, I am a turtle when it comes to mouse ,but I 'm pretty sure I'm faster when playing than most of the people who have godlike mouse handling
Speed is a lot of things, its about anticipating the opponents moves, its about having a plan, its about board vision etc..
But hey, clicking fast is important too.I mean I have seen quite high rated players making the most random moves you can imagine in like 0.2 sec for 12 moves hoping to flag the guy they are playing with. But this playstyle obviously has a ceiling, mouse skills can only get you this far :)
In bullet, the mouse is a fighting piece. Use it!
Why is the top classical rating(2721) way lower than bullet (3069) or blitz(2889)? There are lots of players in these three.
I understand that all the other variants have much fewer (more than 12 times less) players than these three chess variants. So the top rating does not mean too much when there are so few players.
morningcoffee is more to the point, as your skill increases your "reflex move generator" will also improve, and that's actually the most important part believe it or not.
not that execution (as in "actually dragging the piece") isn't important, but its importance is greatly overrated imo, as long as you can premove completely winning endings it should be good enough.

of course you could become some kind of bullet tryhard and optimize your settings and equipment for some uh extra 50 points or so (if that), but i suppose most people have better things to do.
It's all about anticipation, and having the right mouse speed. I play on a touchpad, and I've gotten pretty comfortable with it. For 1/2+0, it's all about the speed. As long as you make sensible moves quick enough, you don't have anything to worry about. Tactical vision is pretty important to, as well as fast reaction time.
I have a terrible connection today. Lichess frequently freezes for a few seconds at a time even if I premove and I don't get them back by the lag compensation. This make impossible to play blitz and bullet games.
