Yes, this would be a wonderful feature. I've seen it suggested at least a couple times before and at this point I'm curious if there's some reason it's difficult to do. It seems like such a consistently requested thing that it'd be in place already if it were easy.

When I analyze games played by strong players (in crazyhouse), I sometimes get confused by poor moves made when the players are in a time scramble. Would be nice to know when I'm looking at well-considered play, and when I'm looking at a flailing time-scramble.

You should be able to make this up out of the move times, but obviously, clocks would definitely make this a lot easier.
