It would be awesome if Lichess had a feature where before the game starts I could see how many points I would get if I win the game, what happens in draw and how many points I would lose if I lose the game.
This really seems useless to me. But I probably don't know what I am talking about.
It could help you decide whether you want to play for a draw or not based on how many rating points you would risk/gain.
I don't see the point in giving these values before a game. But if this feature is added to Lichess, please also add the option of hiding these values.
You can usually estimate it pretty well. From experience, if difference is less that 100, it's usually about 10 for a win or a loss. If 200-300, 15-20 normally. (I only have experience from 1300-1700 though, not sure above or below that)
@themanp15 you are right on the point. Some people are not good enough in math/stats to be able to estimate these things. If everybody could easily estimate it, I wouldn't have requested this feature.
