Mouse vs. Touchscreen in Bullet

Up until a few days ago, my all time record bullet rating was 2130. I decided to try using the touchscreen on my laptop to play, and was surprised how much easier it was. I've now managed to increase my rating from around 1900 to 2300 playing hyperbullet, and have won probably 98% of my games in that time (including a 122 game winning streak). The only downside to using the touchscreen is that in time scrambles in endgames, my hand usually covers part of the board.

Does anyone else use a touchscreeen in hyperbullet? I've noticed most of the top streamers use a mouse.
For bullet I use a touchscreen. I am not very quick with a mouse. But I have a sub-average bullet rating and still lose a lot.
Since I have a Pc, which is a Mac actually, I've never used a mouse to play chess.
I thought bullet and hyperbullet were my nightmares considering I have not a mouse and 99% of players say touch/trackpad is bad.
Anyway, one day I decided to try with a 2+1 time control and I did pretty good, I enjoyed way more bullet than my expectations and thus I kept playing it till reaching a pretty good (for me, a 1500) speed. For example I managed to handle 2000s in hyper for more than 30 moves (they didn't berserk). I feel comfortable using the trackpad.
I use an iPad and it's pretty good! It's faster to move pieces long distances, but overall slower than the mouse (especially in premoves).
Would imagine it depends on the quality of the touch screen.
Maybe I'm just slower than everyone else with my mouse. Tbh I don't really use it that much (I don't bring my mouse when I take my computer to classes), so maybe I've just lost that speed over time.
